I just read this entire thing after seeing you mention it on twitter. It makes me realize, over and again, how much I miss the chemistry between the guys-- Justin and JC, JC and the rest of them. You've done such a great job of capturing candid conversations and emotional moments.

Also, sometimes, you fall for someone while you're still stuck on somebody else. Complicated? JC Chasez thinks so too. And things don't get any better when all he does is deny and deny.

lol, I'm glad you liked it. It was actually a last minute-type of deal, so I'm glad it came out at least okay! I love writing his internal dialogue more than anything else ... I've come to grasp who he is (at least slightly) and when I type it, I can actually hear him saying it, haha. And thank YOU for getting me to write again! It was a slow process with my other stories - a little here, a little there ... a forgotten few weeks ... haha!

Nice ending! I was having a hard time seeing the 'win' for the female character. It all makes sense!
Sometimes knowing you've got to let go and not letting go is not the problem. The problem lies in not believing you'll be ok after letting go. Opening your heart one final time to get that other person to understand you is the greatest chance you'll take in your relationship. Why? Well, their response to you will either make or break you.
Gosh. Emotional and powerful. Lots of good insights. My breakups always end in clueless 'wtf'. This level of introspection is great... and in a few days/weeks/months it will become even clearer and you'll be glad you got it out. Wonderful job!
