When Superstar Justin Timberlake meets up-and-coming song bird Marz, it's a match made in pop music heaven and a publicist dream. The only thing causing stress in their tabloid-picture-perfect relationship? Justin's inability to finish the music for his next solo album. Enter Marz's younger sister Kara, the girl who's been living in her shadow for years as her personal assistant and doormat. With Kara's knack for melodies and Justin's God-given talent with lyrics, everyone thought it was a genius collaboration. But what happens when Justin starts to wonder if he's fallen in love with the wrong sister?
Emerald moves to the big city of New York hoping to get her singing group of the ground and on the charts. But her flight out there proves to be eventful when she finds herself surrounded by pop superstars. Justin and she hit it off and quickly become a secret couple. She flies to Orlando to be by his side and one late night proves to have lasting impact. How will she deal with this sudden change of plans? How will Justin take on the most important role of his life, being a father?
This was one of my very first stories, so it's not incredibly well written. In all honesty I think it sucks, and if you want to just skip over it (I wouldn't hold it against you) here's a short summary: Justin meets a girl named Emerald Partain. They start dating, she becomes good friend with JC, and she also becomes pregnant with Justin's child. Justin freaks, and in a frenzy he signs of his rights. Emerald gets pissed and moves away, but she tells JC where she is. When she has the baby, the guys show up, and Justin has since changed his mind and decided he wants to be a father. Eventually he and Emerald get back together, but then Emerald recieves a package in the mail, with pictures of Justin and Britney Spears together. She packs up their son, Isaiah, and leaves in the middle of the night.
Emerald and Justin have been enjoying their lives together, finally putting all the drama and madness behind them. She's even due to have a baby, a second child for the Timberlake clan. But once the baby arrives, emotions stir, tempers flare and the happiness they've known for so long quickly disappears. Their family is split in two and the pressure begins to break Emerald. So what happens when a Mother doesn't want her daughter? What happens when a Father forgets his son? What happens when a man just doesn't love a woman enough?
Hours later, Spiderman has ended and I've finished off my second little bottle of wine. I un-prop the pillows and throw the extra one to the floor. I dig my hands underneath the pillow that remains on the bed and lay my head upon it, comfort filling every fiber in my tired body. Sleep comes all too quickly and it feels as though I've been asleep for...
