U r always mentioning booms and characters... I wanna b able to understand more of it... So if u don't mind that would be AWESOME!!! thx!!!
Author's Response: Oh lord...I have about a hundred book recs off the top of my head...I'll see if I can compile a list for ya...

So, I've been snooping (if that's what you call it) and reading some stories I've never read before. This was genius. The writing was so...(ok, stick with me) black-and-white-old-timey-film, if that makes any sense. I love the narrator, because she confused me at first, but then it all made sense. And I love the ending. Not happily ever after, but not a complete shit storm, either. Fantastic writing, my dear :)
Author's Response: "Black and white old timey film" - I believe you've just given me the best compliment I've ever gotten in my life, haha. Thank you so much, m'dear.

Amazing story. Wonderfully styled, enchanting plot, unexpected outcomes - thoroughly enjoyable.
Author's Response: thank you very much, doll! sometimes the ADD brain works in my favor...rarely, but sometimes. glad you enjoyed it. :)

Oh I love you like chocolate.
Author's Response: ha! the feeling is mutual, doll!

Woot. It ended just the way it should end - just the way it happens in real life. I won't say it's not a happy ending because it sorta is, what with conflict being resolved and 'Grace' not ending in jail. But it's far cry from the usual romantic comedy ending that people would classify as 'happy ending.' It is happy for me because they're able to walk out of it alive and they're not screaming each other's head off or there's no bloodshed or deaths. Clean slate for the two of them... So yeah. It's still happy for me.
Love this story. I don't think it could have ended any other way for me that would still make it seem real. Good job for being consistent in all the chapters and character development. Definitely two thumbs up for this story for me 8)
Ps. Wasn't it Porky Pig who says 'That's all folks'? 8/
exactly - they'll both be okay is the way i look at it, with some lessons learned too. can't everything be puppies and sunshine, eh?
and thank you, doll! glad you enjoyed it.
p.s. whoops, i'm an idiot - you're absolutely right, haha. the stutter, how could i forget??

Awwww! That was perfect! Still hate the ex bitch but grace came clean so it's kinda hard to hate her. And Justin....poor guy! Loved it!
Author's Response: ha! yes, don't hate grace - that would make me sad. he'll be alright, though. thanks, sweets!

Well my delusional self was hoping they'd find a way to be together and stick it to the man...girl...villain... whatever, but I can't say I'm surprised. It was a good, fitting ending though. She may be a con artist, but she definitely has a heart, especially to sell all her books and pay for the money stolen from him, even though it hurt her. And even though it wasn't said again, I'd like to think that in the end the narrator feels guilty and is still brooding in a corner somewhere cause deep down she isn't truly happy even though she got her revenge. Lol! Just let me think it please! It will help ease my mind. Lol ;o) anyway, I really did love this. I love the mystery of it and I especially love how it was written. Woooonderfully done ma'am. :o)
Author's Response: aw, sorry to burst the bubble! and yes, she had a conscience, way deep down. i'm totally with you re: the narrator, that's pretty much how she ends up in my head, haha. thank you, darlin'!

you know... this is pretty much perfect. like you said, totally brings everything full circle. and since i'm on the not so happy ending kick lately, i LOVED it.
fantastic my dear, this is the one that got me hooked on your stuff, and i'm almost sad to see it end, but you've given me all in the timing to look forward to, so i'll let it slide! haha.
amazing job lady!
yeah it just would not have fit if they got to ride off into the sunset together, lol.
thank you, chickadee, as per!

My, my , my. How the tables may have turned. The villian is actually feeling a little remorse? Has a heart?!? Wow. Haha. I want to know what he did that was so bad, or is that somethingwe just have to come up with on our own? And I would like to know why grace even agreed to do this! *sigh* one more? :o( I guess I can deal. Update soon (or not). :o)
Author's Response: haha i know, you'd never have thunk it, huh? teeny tiny one, like the grinch's, but it's there. oh and i think one of the earlier chapters covers what he did- albeit briefly. basically was a cheating whore. and grace is a con artist, it's par for the course. just don't think she suspected she'd get all invested and whatnot. hahaha i love that you know me so well already - "update soon (or not)" pfft!

damnit... i don't know who to side with. i see each point and can sympathize with all three of them. so now i'm all kinds of confused.
and for some reason... i don't want to see justin and grace end up with some twisted form of a happily ever after. i kind of want them to go their separate ways. what can i say? i'm evil like that.
anywho... loved it as usual woman! and i'm all kinds of proud of you for this creative streak you seem to be on! haha
sympathizing with all three is a leg up from sympathizing with none of the above, i say, haha.
you ARE evil...but i couldn't possibly admit or not admit to what i have in mind for them because where's the fun in that?
haha i KNOW! there's a tiny litle man in my head that won't leave me alone...pesky bugger.

I don't like her. I'm sure Justin was an ass but to so coldly and calculatingly set out to destroy somebody like that? Blerugh.
Author's Response: Blerugh? I'm trying to figure out what noise that would make, ha. and yes, woman clearly is full of issues.

Awww... 8'< Well it had to end sometime soon. But I know it'll end with a bang o/ I must say I'm somewhat sad she started caring for Grace, but at least it's not Justin. Can't wait to see how you end it :)
Author's Response: end with a bang? no pressure or anything - ha! and well, she's not exactly CARING, just feeling guilty. as she should, if she has any kind of soul (which she does, manipulative though she may be) but yeah - definitely none of that where Justin's concerned. thanks, love!

i am loving this!! i dont always fully understand (you can't blame me today - i've been up since 4:30) but i love it. my heart hurts for justin right now! please fix it!
Author's Response: 4:30?! That's when you go to BED, woman, not wake up! And if by "fix" you mean "finish" well then...I'm working on it, lol. Thanks, lady!

OH CRAP! Oh dang it's about to go down! Lol lol this is about to blow up in the narrator's face! Actually, I think it's about to blow up in everybody's face! Haha. Sounds like they have all done wrong in their own way for their own reasons, but I hope the true villian (which in my opinion is the narrator) goes down and justin and grace come out on top cause I think their feelings are genuine. But I don't know how nice you are willing to be with this story so I'm just going to have to see how it goes. Lol ;o) I love this though. It always keeps me intrigued more and more with each update and I can't help but read it at a fast pace to see what the next sentence says...if that makes sense. Haha. Update soon!! :o)
Author's Response: HAHA well you know me, i could be nice or i could be a total prick. ;) but it'll definitely blow up in SOMEONE'S face soon. thanks, lovely!
katethegreat (Signed) on Jun 18, 2009 12:55 am (almost enough)
why do you do this to me? seriously... that was just... wrong, and i demand an update this instant! lol.
i seriously cannot wait for the shit to hit the fan here. and maybe it's that scorned woman in me coming out, but i'm actually on the narrorators side. it isn't really her fault that grace went off script and fell for the cheating bastard.
anywho... i'm ready for more, so hop to it! and i just might get off my lazy ass and update the vegas sequel tonight, and hopefully *crosses fingers* poker face tomorrow!
ummm cause i'm an ass?
haha and this is why i love you - you totally know where i'm coming from as far as the narrator's concerned.
vegas sequel NOW please!!
