Wow, its almost March?! Is 2010 flying by for anyone else? lol!

Me and Brittany are trying to stay on the ball but feel free to nudge us if we're late on any responsiblities... haha!

V1 (for both Joey and Justin) are best viewed if you have a larger screen setting. Justin V2 has the sexiness at the BOTTOM of the screen, which comes in handy if you're reading at work.

But when this author is someone I trusted, someone I've known for a long time, someone who tried to sneak behind my back and cover information that would undoubtedly reach me one way or another, someone who had the nerve to plagiarize word-for-word even though she knew better... seriously, it's unfair both to me and to you.

This isn't MY site, I've never considered it so. This is OUR site, and if you become a member and freely abuse OUR site then you leave ME no choice but to take action.

No. You have no say. Not when it's ridiculously obvious that the story is not your own.

Her account has been deleted, both the plagiarized story and a second story that - no, I don't care IF it was her own work. You are not welcomed here if you have no respect for another authors hard work and talent. I don't care if this author story is on NF or not. If it's plagiarized, it's plagiarized! End of discussion.

Because of this, I now have a ZERO TOLERANCE attitude. And if this message reminds you of a previous public plagiarism outing from LESS THAN two years ago - then good! If you don't like it then take your stories to another website.

I'm looking out for what's best for EVERYONE here and if that means I lose popularity points then fine....frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. People like this suck the fun out of this website and hurt the community and if you are supportive of these people then you too can take your stories elsewhere.

And what do I mean by being supportive? By not REPORTING them! I don't care how much you are enjoying said stories, as members you should feel responsible for taking care of this site. For those of you that HAVE reported... I thank you, a million times over. I would never reveal the identity of any reader or member who reports a story or author - if that's what keeps you quiet.

Excuse the long rant, but this needed to be said.

Hey Guys! Vikki and I have changed the featured stories so make sure you check them out. I hope you guys are enjoying the challenges, I know I sure am!

And if any retired featured stories are missing a "retired" ribbon, please let us know. The script acts funny that way, and all former featured stories should have one.

So MissM came up with a great idea and that I am now completely giddy over!

NF is now hosting its first annual SECRET SANTA! :)

All the details are listed on the Challenges page (scoll down, its listed second to the bottom) and I hope you all try to participate and make it awesome like I know you can.

Just a quick note... because I don't want to be the Tag Police lol!

Now that the list is getting nice and big (and pervy!), I want to ask that you all help keep it organized too.

Look at what tags are up before adding new ones, if there's a tag you can use, then use it instead of creating another. Example: the boys are on the NSA tour in your story? use the "nsasync" tag (short for nsa!sync) instead of just adding "nsa" or "no strings attached". the tag gets BIGGER when its added to more stories.

Not sure how to tag? Or what tags aren't allowed? Its explained on the FAQ page. 

Btw, I'm not discouraging the addition of NEW tags, I love it... add as many as you can, make it great! But please be aware of what's up and use any simular tags when possible. :)

Lots of little changes and some big ones too. The long list has been sent to the google group and is also up at the message board.

For now, this is the only working 'skin' layout, but there are more on the way. Please read over the Rules and the Help / FAQ page, there's some additions to both.

I hope you ALL take advantage of our new features by adding story tags, challenges, and recommendations! :)

[edit 2: the story tag box is located at the end of the chapter pages, all the way at the end, below the Review box. Edited the FAQ page to list a few tags that arent allowed.]

[edit 3: forgot to mention round robins! (from the newly edited FAQ page)

Round robin are stories in which an author posts the beginning of a story then other authors are encouraged to add to it. When adding a story to the site, check "round robin" option box. This will allow any author to add chapters to your story. This is a fun way to write a story and very interactive for the archive.]

[edit 4: added the Characters link in the menu, so you can search for stories that way too now.]
