Penelope Asherbee isn’t one for the spotlight or the center of attention. She prefers behind the scenes – which is an easy job to get in the world of Hollywood since everyone is fighting tooth and nail to get noticed. She’s perfectly happy to continue her way to the top of the make up design world, one major motion picture at a time. But she has dreams outside of Hollywood, and her ticket out present itself in the indie, sure-fire hit, Southern Sunrise. Working with a star studded cast has its pros and cons, one of them being musician turned actor Justin Timberlake and Valora Francis, an actress who puts Naomi Campbell’s tantrums to shame.
Together with a bumbling cast of assistants, Penelope tries her best to keep her free spirit and easy going attitude unchained to the Hollywood mindset. But, of course, when things go wrong on set, and Penelope is suddenly thrown into the limelight, will she be able to keep her sanity? In a world where you fall faster than you climb, Penelope has to hold tight to who she is or be forever changed.
"If I told you things I did before, told you how I used to be, would you go along with someone like me?"

Food? Check. Clothes? Ahhh, oh wait, I mean…check. Housing? Um half check. What else could you need in life? I’d gotten so used to living day by day, just trying to survive life that I’d forgotten to actually live it. That’s where Justin comes in I suppose. Justin and his damn scheme. I wanted his friend, he wanted mine. The logical solution naturally is that we date each other. Yeah, I didn’t really see his logic either at first. But I went with it anyways. It all started off innocently enough, a simple deal to kill two birds with one stone. Unfortunately for me, nothing ever can be that simple.

"I told myself I won't miss you But I remember What it feels like beside you I really miss your hair in my face And the way your innocence tastes And I think you should know this You deserve much better than me"
Sky has always wanted Justin but when things finnaly start to look good for them things take a bad turn.
Scandals. They can make or break you in this industry. Malia has been lucky enough not to get involved with the drama of Hollywood and have a scandal that rocked her boat. Against her better judgment, she has had a very lengthy rough relationship with someone that her camp was not thrilled about from the beginning. He was a rapper/singer from Atlanta, who moved to L.A. to find himself but what he found, was Malia. Who was already a successful songwriter about to break into the music scene, front and center. She wrote and produced the single that put him on the map, over a year ago. Since that moment, his time was over in the industry. Single after single, they all flopped. The hype surrounding her however, made the expectations sky rocket the publicity for the album. His foul mouth and bad behavior was a threat to her career, but her great image and thriving career was exactly what he needed.
If I got a second chance and was able to push the rewind or redo button on my life for all those moments I regret, I would not change the decision or choices I've made. And you know what? It was and still is all because of him…my weakness…my enemy but my desire…my ‘biker boy’…my…Justin.
Justin's guilt is running over these days. He's not only taken himself but he's got his eyes on taken territory-his best friends girl. Take a walk with everyone, hearing their sides as a story unfolds and see what happens when everything seems broken.
I am coming to the end of this roadMy cursed hands they are worn and swollenFor a long time I've been carrying this load Now I'm resting my arms and these things have been oldOh now where do I go when there ain't no signs or pointing arrowsSo many things that I wanted to fulfillThat I could not think straight and I could not sit stillAnd...
