ok. that was hot. both scenes with nick and justin, but am i the only one that isn't happy that it happened? i don't know. i just think she went too fast. i feel like she's letting that ohmysomebodylikesme! feeling and hormones take over too much and make her "comfortable." i mean, good she doesn't regret it, but yeah. and i sure didn't like what just happened with her and justin. i mean...i did cause it was freakin' hot of course and i'm a perv, but you know. haha. justin just wants the best of both worlds, which is definitely not fair and him and selah both just hurt their significant others, even if those people don't find out. i just think that they just need to be miserable, or not fully happy, with their partners until they fess up to what they really want deep down AFTER they have ended the relationships. i don't want her to be a hussy either, but she just turned into one. haha. she did get two hot guys to please her though so on one hand i'm like, "go 'head girl!!" haha! i think her and j really need to talk more. serious talks and not ones filled with innuendos. one thing i don't understand: Ava was all about Nick being mischievous (in a way) at first, now she's all like, "how good a kisser is he?" and about head and all that...what happened? i don't know. i just think selah needs to be wary of both justin and nick, but for different reasons which i feel like if i explained my reasons would become a book instead of this essay. i don't know...just update soon woman! haha. please. :o)
Author's Response: Wow, you have really brought up some awesome and important points. First off I agree about Selah moving too fast and I think a lot of it has to do with her naiveté about relationships and people's feelings toward her in general. I mean she's had it pretty rough in that department so she doesn't know how distinguish what's real from what's lust and how to act on it in the right way without being afraid of that person not liking her or caring about her anymore. And that's obvious with what's happening between her and Justin right now, she thought he was really into her and he appears to only want to get his rocks off ya know? But the two of them are at fault because they are hurting the people that they claim to care about and it's starting to take its toll and get in the way of their feelings for each other. Like I said to another reader, actions speak louder than words and Selah needs to be strong and mean when she says that she needs to leave Justin alone because it's obvious that her judgment is a bit skewed when it comes to doing things with him despite her morals. I think Justin should know better because he's had more experience, but he's being selfish by trying to have the best of both worlds. You are absolutely right about these two getting to know each other without all the sexual undertones because in all actuality, they don't really know much about each other and I think the next chapter is going to give them a chance to see that and try to find a way to resolve their problems. As for Ava changing her mind about Nick, she's still the overly protective sister but she sees how much Nick really cares about Selah and how he's treating her. Plus overall, she knows that Nick isn't a bad guy, she just doesn't want her sister to rush things with him (but it looks like it's a little too late for that). Damn, this was a long response (haha), but I thank you SO much for your awesome feedback because it allows me as the author to think about things more intently when it comes to these characters. Selah needs to stand strong against Justin, cause' it's not fair to Nick or herself..She DOES seems to understand that at least. Now Justin, he just needs to quit being a dog. He wants Jessica AND Selah both, and that just makes him a spoiled brat.
I hope you let Selah stand strong, and teach Justin a thing or two about life. It would serve him right to have to watch the girl he REALLY wants be happy with someone else. If he wants to be happy, he has to learn to quit being a bitch and make the hard choices. That's life!

Selah does need to learn about standing strong against Justin because even though she realizes what she's been doing is wrong, her judgment is a skewed and it causes her to do things that she shouldn't be doing. As they say, actions speak louder than words and Selah needs to start living by her words of leaving Justin alone and execute that. You are right about Justin too because he should know better and he needs to learn not be selfish and try to have everything for himself because he's going at it in the completely wrong way. Umm I don't think Justin's going to so gung ho about ending whatever's going on between them. Now that Selah's called it quits, will there be some jealous Justin in the near future? That whole "playing house" comment already hinted at a small case of the Green Eyed Monster. I hope it only gets bigger!

giiiiirl...i'm freaking out over here! haha. how you write these insanely hot scenes that don't even involve the actual act of sex, i will never understand, but i hope you continue to do so. justin is fire and if i was her i'd want to get burned. haha. it seems that she was all for nick when she thought justin was unattainable, but now...yeah he may be with jess now, but if he broke up with her the next day he would be attainable you know? cause they both have a strong attraction to each other and have admitted it. nick has no claim over her so she shouldn't feel so restricted (if she does feel that way). and i think maybe she should take a step back and look at the nick situation because she said he was the first person in a long time to notice her, and well she could just feel a big attraction to him because of that, when they may be best as friends. kind of like it could be blinding her. of course, i could be totally wrong, but yeah. the ending kind of left me confused. i don't know if she's talking about justin or nick. i guess time will tell...haha. oh and i love your little phrases: dickmatize, caking with her, etc. they crack me up! keep up the amazing work! update soon! :o)
Author's Response: I always look forward to your reviews so first, let me thank you for taking time to read and leave one. As far as the sex scenes go, I don't know how I do it either (haha). I guess I see Justin as a sexy tease that like to tempt and see how far he can push Selah, ya know? They do share a very strong chemistry and attraction toward each other, but I think what makes them "unattainable" to each other is not the fact that he's seeing someone and she is possibly starting something with someone too, but the fact that they're letting their morals get in the way. Justin doesn't want to hurt Jessica and Selah doesn't want to hurt Nick and I think that's their major hurdle because you're right, if Justin broke up with Jessica then things would be all good. But what they don't realize is that although they don't want to hurt those two people but calling things off with them, they are hurting them by messing around. I feel what you're saying about Selah being blinded by the affection Nick is showing her, but she also can fall into the same trap by messing with Justin. That's why I left the ending so open because she has a decision to make and hopefully it will be the right one for her. Sorry for my long explanation (haha).
