Author's Response: I'm so glad you feel that way. I thought it might be a fun twist to see his life without her. Shocked doesn't even begin to cover it.

If I was Alana I would have been trying to figure out how this new twist is going to affect her in the long run. I mean, what if he glimpses into this new Alana-free life and likes it better? I guess since he even gets to do this that he would be able to remember it once they go back to the alternate reality of Alana's life with him...then what? He wouldn't be acting the same towards her and then it couldn't be like living in the life she could've had because now he knows things he wasn't supposed to know and...
I don't know. Just seems like it could be a big complication. But I'm very interested to find out what these lessons they're supposed to be learning are and just generally see how it all pans out. Update soon!
