Yay, finally had time to catch up on the posted stories! This was so, so unique! Different concept and great action. I actually chuckled when she said that she would have packed her crackers if she knew this was going to happen...and then amended that she probably wouldn't have come instead. Good job!

*GASP* YOU KNOW THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED HERE ABOUT 25 minutes from my house...this was about a year ago  back in November though..only difference was that the guy actually killed himself in the bathroom..didn't kill anyone else, I don't think: I'll DM you the link if you wanna see:

 

But now this story: SCARY situation to be in, so glad that they managed to get out of there after a while..but OMG JC is a hero! And so happy that Sloane and him stayed together..GREAT story, scary but good!

This is an awesome story. I knew someone who was in a mall where a shooting happened. Then a mall I frequented a week after sandy hook was involved in one as well so this story resonated with me.

Awesome story. The tension was almost unbearable in places, and JC getting shot... OMG no! Glad it sounds like he's going to be okay, though. He really is a hero ;)

That's quite a memorable how mommy met daddy story to tell the kids one day! Great writing!
